Anna Mae (Lawrence) Price Obituary
Anna “Jake” Lawrence Price, age 85, of Granite Falls, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Watauga County on November 30, 1934 to the late Charles and Mae Lawrence. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Sterling Price; a granddaughter, Carol Ann Abernathy; four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Price attended New Beginnings Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, William Keith Price and wife, Nancy, Tony Council Price and wife, Melinda, and Brian Ray Price; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and one great-great granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 1:00 pm at New Beginnings Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Daniel Buchanan. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Douglas Price, Tony Price, Randy Price, James Abernathy, James Abernathy, Jr., and Gerald Harris. Honorary pallbearer will be: Josh Price.
