She was predeceased by : her parents Charles Cleveland and Violet LouAlice Payne Poovey; her husband Edison "Ed" Hardee; and her brothers, Charles, Walter, Earl and Harry Poovey.
She is survived by : her children, Dan Hardee, Tim Hardee (Karen) of Granite Falls and Debbie Scarberry (Eddie Lail) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Alicia Price, Erin Ogburn, Amanda Gilliland, Kristen Hardee, John Hardee, Brad Hardee and Angela Scarberry; and her sister Edythe Harrold of Albany, GA..
