She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Pinkney Hayes and Grace Virginia Stephens Hayes. She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Tate Atkin (James) of Hickory, Laura Tate Samara (Jon Watson) and Jennifer Tate Pierce (Doug) of Drexel; her grandchildren, Heather Dawn Pierce, Valerie Marie Pierce, Lindsay Tate Stockton (Cole) and Robert Ray Pierce; and her great grandchildren, Corbyn Hoke, Ryder Amodeo, Lincoln Champion and Ozzy Pierce.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mackie Funeral Service (35 Duke St, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
