He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Dixon Echard Ferguson and Pearl Echard; and his brother Roosevelt John Echard (Barbara). He is survived by: his siblings, Gaither Echard, Lenoir, Earl Echard (Laura), Garner and Hedy Hunt Echard; and his children, Maria Echard Eason (Curtis), High Point, Alfred Alexander Echard Jr. (Teresa), Paw, Brandon Bolton-Greensboro and Ashley Russell-Greensboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
