She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Wallace and Nancy Anna Wallace Triplett; and her husband Thad Carter. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Rick A. Carter (Joyce) of Raleigh, Todd A. Carter (Lisa) of Hickory, Vickie C. Bryant of Valdese, Julia C. Starnes (Joe Jr.) of Granite Falls, Jill M. Carter of Hudson and JoEllen Crump (Brian) of Granite Falls.
