With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Payment of Grandy, North Carolina, born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Horace Jordan, Sr. and Evelyn Marie Harris Jordan; and her brothers, William Horace Jordan, Jr., Terry Wayne Jordan, Sr. and Danny Lee Jordan.
She is survived by: her husband Mike; her daughter Heather Payment Scott (Clinton); her siblings, Joyce Kight (Dean), Larry Jordan (Wanda) and Gary Jordan; and her grandchildren, Clinton "C. T." Scott III and Evelyn Scott.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Powells Point Baptist Church, 8383 Caratoke Highway, Powell's Point, NC 27966, or a charity of one's choice.
