She was predeceased by: her siblings, Wilma Boone, Warren Young, Floy Gage, Allie Buchanan, Verna Huskins, Geneva Boone, Shelba Jean Grindstaff and Freeda Boone.
She is survived by: her former husband Elmo D. Young; her husband Edward G. McQueen; her brother Bill Young of Spruce Pine; her sons, Edward "Eddie" Young (Linda) of Spruce Pine, NC and Kevin Young (Teresa) of Grandy, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Young (Dara), Tabitha Nance (Daniel), Kayla Silver (Lance), Nathaniel Young (Sydney), Kagan Young (Tori), Aaron Young and Karah Young; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Jonathan, Christian, McKinley, Isabella and Lyla. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
