It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winona Black (Graham, North Carolina), born in Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Roy G. Black, Jr.; her brothers, Marvin C. Pickard (Connie) and John E. Pickard Sr. (Christine); her nephew Alfred Leroy Pickard (Al); and her sister-in-law Eula L Black (Caldwell).
She is survived by: her husband Western Electric; her nieces and nephews, Carolyn Pickard Truluck, Jan Pickard Herring, East Over, Linda S. Scoggins, John Edward Pickard, Jr., Skyland, Marvin "Buddy" Pickard, Reidsville and Wesley; her great-nieces, Nephews and Seventeen; her great-niece Sarah Truluck Battersby (Brian); and also, Nephews and Phil Miller.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice Home of Burlington.
