He was predeceased by: his parents, Wally J. Tyler and Rosa Jane Evans Tyler; and his sisters, Eunice Harrison and Mildred Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Knight Smith Tyler; his daughter Pamela Tyler Thompson (Craig) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Natalie Thompson, Sophie Herring (Ryan) and Evan Thompson; and his brothers, Jack Tyler (Betty) and Walter Tyler (Kay). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
