He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Davis and Annie Lou Davis. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Chapman Davis; his sister Helen Hodges; his children, Lois Ann Ramsey, Charles Walter Davis (Kristin Davis) and Susan Kopynec (Bohdan Kopynec); his grandchildren, Gerald Ramsey (Jessica), Natalie Ramsey, Rhiannon Menn (Slava) and Alexander Kopynec (Shira Edelman); and his sisters-in-law, Sallie Little and Martha Bowling. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
