She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Floyd Whitt and Helen Haithcox Whitt; and her brother Grover Whitt. She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Brown; her grandsons, Joshua Brown and Bradley Brown; her son Anthony Wayne Hicks (Jessica) of Shallote, NC; her uncle Roscoe Poe of Liberty; her sister Jeannette Smith (Billy) of Bear Creek; and her pets, Scobbie, Allie and KitKat.
