Though Ruby may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Jerome Martin; and her parents, Lacey Sykes and Odell Stone Sykes. She is survived by: her children, Susan Martin Edwards (William) and Bruce Lee Martin; and her grandchildren, William Parham Edwards, IV and Alexandria Edwards.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Chapel (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
