She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Jones "Bud" King; her parents, Linwood Jefferson and Nannie Bell Jefferson; her grandson Chad Michael Oakley; and her siblings, Kathleen, Annie, Pearl, Onie, James, Floyd, Junior and Dee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda K. Oakley (Buck) of Burlington and Teresa D. Kernodle (Larry) of Graham; her grandchildren, Mandy Bundren (Mike), Richie Oakley (Amy), Karissa Kimrey (Taylor) and Lisa Knighten (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Jamie, Cassie, Zoey and Jordan; her great great grandchildren, Skylyn and Ella; and her brother Earl.
