He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Talmadge Clapp and Mary Williams Poe (Jack); and his children, Teressa Lynn Clapp and Ronald Steven Clapp. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Martin Clapp; his children, Rhonda Terrell (Jeff) of Burlington, Angela Galdi (Joseph) of Coconut Creek, FL and Kevin Clapp (Kimberly) of Welcome, NC; his grandchildren, Casey Clapp, Brandy Clapp, Joy Clapp, Seth Clapp and Connor Clapp; his great grandchildren, Silas Clapp and Briley Tant; and his sisters, Juanita Stinson, Glenda Teer, Karen Lloyd and Jenny Wheeler.
