He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Capps and Nellie Jane Clapp Capps; and his brother Homer Boyd Capps. He is survived by: his wife Paulette; his stepchildren, Joyce Hartsoe (Mike) of Gibsonville, Janet Ryals of Walkertown, Jim Sharp (Dale) of Gibsonville, Michael Sharp and Roger of Georgia; and his nephew Jan Capps of Graham. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
