He was predeceased by: his father Robert Aster Maness; and his grandparents, Johnny, Mallie Maness, Frank and Sally Whisnatt.

He is survived by: his mother Helen Irene Whisnatt Maness; his wife Stephanie Loftis Maness; his daughter Makayla Maness Scott (Colby); his siblings, Doug Maness (Charla), Rennie Thompson (Clay) and Debbie Boggs; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Ann Loftis.
