He is survived by: his children, Darcie Hair (William) of Graham, David Thornton (Tiffany) of Snow Camp and Mark Willoughby of Liberty; his granddaughters, Faith and Sofia Hair; his sister Evelyn Frye (Scottie); and his stepbrother William Rhew.
