He was predeceased by: his parents, David Odell Norton and Mamie Wagoner Norton; his son Joseph Todd Norton; and his brother Maynard Curtis Norton. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Norton; his sister Marie Norton Effler of Florida; and his sons, David Eugene Norton (Rhonda) of Siler City and Christopher Ray Norton of Utah. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
