He was predeceased by: his brother George'Butchie'Brignon, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cable; his daughters, Cheri Brignon of Washington State and Camille Brignon of Oregon; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Kyle, Dylan and Baylee; his great grandchild Kash; his sister Thurza Morris (Jerry) of Pittsboro; and his nephew Brad Morris. He is also survived by his wife, children, friends.

Memorials may be made to the Children's Library at Bethel UMC or The Bethel Memorial Cemetery of Snow Camp, NC. in care of Emily Coble, 4671 Thompson Mill Rd. Graham, NC 27253.
