She was predeceased by: her parents, Tinsley Cheek and Eula Mae Mann Ezzell; her husband William Alfred Johnson; her daughter-in-law Jerry; her children, William Alfred "Billy" Johnson and Vicky Johnson; her grandchild Grayson Apken; and her siblings, Peggy Rogers, Johnny and Jerry Ezzell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ann King (Steve) of Burlington, Tammy Johnson of Burlington and Sandra Monroe (Jim) of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Jessica Eller, Brandi Monroe, Cody Monroe, Patricia Apken, Jonathan Johnson (Brittanee) and Kristen Friar (Clint); her great grandchildren, Maddie Apken, Ezra Ragan, Jesslyn Johnson, Jace Johnson, Brealyn Friar, Kaelyn Friar and Preslyn Friar; and her brother Tommy Ezzell (Jeanette) of Mebane.
