It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Quakenbush of Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Taylor and Elsie Waldrop Taylor; her husband Edward E. Quakenbush Jr.; her children, Edward E. Quakenbush III and Linda K. Flowers; and her grandson Patrick Isley.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce James; and also Kay Rackley (Lacy Huffman). She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Home of Burlington at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
