She was predeceased by: her husband William Ferrell (Buck); her mother Nettie Baker; her stepfather Lucian Baker; her father Heyward Nesbitt; her son James Carson Ferrell; her grandson Steve Ferrell; her son-in-law Billy Combs; her sister Polly; her brother-in-law Bud Joyner; and her niece Catherine Joyner Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Heyward "Bill" Ferrell (Nicki), Dale Lowe (Wayne) and Rev. Betsy Combs. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
