She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Rhodes McVey; her parents, John Currie Paris and Della Elizabeth Holt Paris; and her adoptive parent Lee Crabtree. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth M. Franklin (Buddy) of Charlotte and Curt Steven McVey (Penny) of Graham; her granddaughters, Della Franklin Mann (Mike), Catherine Grace McVey and Rebecca Anne McVey; and her great grandchild Elaine Elizabeth Mann.
