She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Kornegay; her son Dana Keith Kornegay; her stepson Steven Author Kornegay; her parents, James Andrew Bryant and Minnie Rosallie Jackson; her stepmother Alta Coble; and her siblings, David, Thomas, Harold, Preston, Andy Bryant and Maxine Woodburn.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Kornegay (Julie); her stepchildren, Louis Kornegay Jr. (Diane), Gregory Kornegay (Vivian) and Mary Lou Batchelor (Murphy Dean); her grandchildren, Kelsey, Chrissy, Andrea Kornegay, Andy, Bobby, Adam, Ashley, Matthew and Justin Kornegay; and her siblings, Levern Bryant (Lisa), Alice Jones (Jimmy) and Mary Barnard (Carroll). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
