She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Lee Carter and Mary Ellen Thomas Carter; and her husband Gary Garrison Rogers. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Rogers (Sarah) of Yanceyville, NC, Daniel Rogers of Greensboro, NC and Erin Rogers Ghim (Michael) of Greensboro, NC.; her brother Lee Carter Jr. (Danette) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Emmy Rogers, Paxton and Cora Ghim.
