She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Layton and Maurice Shoffner Layton Fogleman; her spouses, Lonnie Clayton Reynolds and Bobby Hoyt Phillips; her son David Hoyt Phillips; and her stepfather Wade Fogleman.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynne Phillips Chancey (Lamar) of Burlington; her siblings, Nancy Byrd of Valdese, NC and John Layton (Frankie) of Graham; her stepbrother Ronnie Fogleman (Mary) of Burlington; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Chancey of Houston, TX and Mark Chancey (Laura) of Solsberry, IN; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kayla and Corwin; and her sister-in-law Shirley Lloyd.
