She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazen Jones and Hazel Whitt Jones. She is survived by: her siblings, Stanley Jones, Jimmy Jones, Pauline Mayton and Margaret Moore; her husband Bobby Penland; her children, Wendy Penland of Graham, Mickey Penland (Melissa) of Burlington and Mike Penland (Ashley) of Connelly Springs; and her siblings, Sam Jones, Johnny Jones, Tom Jones and Darlene Jones. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
