She was predeceased by: her husband Jasper Howell Braxton; her parents, Sidney Burgess Mullen and Virginia Albright Mullen; her brother Robert "Bobby" Mullen; and her uncle Tom Wiggins.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Roach Braxton (Joel) of Snow Camp, Tracy Lynn Lawson of Raleigh, Michael Braxton (Kim) of Graham and Thomas Alexander "Alex" Braxton of Graham; her grandchildren, Nathan Roach, Kristen Roach, Veronica Dodson Campbell (Tyler), Abegale Lawson, Malissa Braxton Griffin (Scott), Mason Braxton and Reannon Braxton; her stepgranddaughter Lindsay Braxton Crutchfield (Jonathan); her great grandchildren, Alston Stephens, Raiden Hubbard, Austin Coble, Paityn Stultz, Hope Whitfield, Oakley Griffin and Stetson Griffin; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Aubrey, Logan and Natalie Crutchfield; and her siblings, Patty Bunting, Carol Brown (Dennis), Eunice Davis (Ronald), Danny Mullen and Dennis Mullen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
