He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Banks Turner and Flossie Mae Miles Turner; his wife Ellen Watlington Turner; and his siblings, Willie Turner Jr., Wesley Turner and Connie Irvin Turner McCain.
He is survived by: his son Maurice Turner (Tamyra) of Graham, NC; his stepdaughters, Janice Ingram of Burlington, NC, Barbaralene Sellars (Ricky) of Reidsville, NC, Shiryl Stokes (Tony) of Reidsville, NC and Tammy Echols (Howard) of Reidsville, NC; and his sister Helen Mae Turner of Yanceyville, NC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
