Larry Cheek Hunter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Cheek Hunter of Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Hunter and Ola Cheek Hunter; and his siblings, Jean Worrell, Meck Councilman, Jackie Farmer, Bill Hunter and Auman Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie R. Hunter; his daughters, Michele Simmons (Danny) of Graham and Kimberly Chambers (Todd) of Cary; and his grandchildren, Meagan Conrad, Julia Brandt (Max), Meredith Simmons, Hunter Simmons (Chace), Ryan Chambers (Jana), Nolan Simmons (Kylie) and Landon Simmons (Brooke). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beacon Baptist Church, 1622 Kirkpatrick Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
