He was predeceased by: his parents, Numor Reid and Minnie Frazier Myrick; his wife Margaret Freeman Myrick; his sons, Comann "Earl" Myrick and James Reid Myrick; and his siblings, Amanda Louise Myrick, James Lafoy Myrick and Numor "Tabby" Myrick.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Ross, David Allen Myrick and Alton "Gene" Myrick (Anita). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
