She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlo Martin and Dorothy Cashion Martin of Newton. She is survived by: her husband Thomas of Graham; her children, Martin Culbreth of Chesapeake and Emily Culbreth of Raleigh; and her sister Sandra Taylor of Burgaw.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church, 303 N. Main Street, Graham, North Carolina 27253.
