He is survived by: his wife Anne Allison Gilbert; his children, Elizabeth Shreve (Stephen) and Brandon Gilbert (Tara Corbett); and his siblings, Claude Eugene Gilbert of Greer, SC, Johnny Gilbert (Judy) of Lyman, SC and Doris McCombs (Kenneth) of Lyman, SC. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
