He was predeceased by: his brother Paul H. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Trish Lindley; his parents, Wayne Lindley of Graham and Sarah Lindley of Graham; his children, Mark Lindley (Carrie) of Richmond and Amy Wallace (Matt) of Graham; his grandchildren, Emma Lindley, Kate Lindley of Richmond, Alex McBride, Anna Johnston, Amelia Johnston of Graham and Ally Wallace of Hawaii; and his brother John Willardson of North Wilkesboro.
