He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Newell and Carolyn Wheeley Newell; and his sisters, Brenda Newell and Cathy Myers. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Coble Newell; his children, Shea Forbis (Blair) and Erica Parriman (Chris); his grandchildren, Ava Forbis, Macy Forbis and Vera Chrismon; and his stepgranddaughter Emery Parriman.
