He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Fitch Walker; his parents, Joel Teed Walker and Mattie Clapp Walker; and his siblings, Clara Phillips, Linda Peele and Harvey Walker.
He is survived by: his daughter Joan Carol Walker; and his sister Nancy Fogleman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rich and Thompson Chapel (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253).
