He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Crawford Schronce; his parents, Berlie W. Schronce and Mary Whisnant Schronce; his grandson Brandon Schronce; and his sister Annie Pendergraph Loy.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Schronce of Snow Camp, Jennifer Roberts (Keith) of Mebane, James K. Schronce of Mebane and Jeffrey G. Schronce of Haw River; his grandchildren, Joshua Schronce, Jacob Schronce, Dakota Collins, Dalton Collins, Samantha Roberts and Lexie Roberts; his great grandchildren, Landen Schronce, Emilie Schronce and Amelia Collins; and his siblings, Martha S. Tingen (John) of Graham, Don Schronce (Pat) of Graham and Mike Schronce (Jean) of Graham.
