He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Phillip Kidd and Hattie Smith Kidd; and his siblings, Polly Sykes, Helen Faucette, Ernestine Doud, Elree Brewer, Daphne Bridges, Maxine Whitenberger, Willard Kidd and Dennis Kidd.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Brown Kidd; his children, Michael Kidd (Gail Kidd), David Kidd (Wanda), Teresa Claar (Kim Claar) and Randall Kidd; his grandchildren, Lauren Foster (Matt Foster), Jennifer DeVries (Alex DeVries), Jeff Kidd (Whitney Kidd) and Brittni Ohm (Stephen Ohm); and his great grandchildren, Maylen Kidd, Lilly Foster, Abigail DeVries, Carter DeVries, Maggie Ohm, Lilah Ohm and Birdie Ohm.
