He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee D. Perdue and Verlie Barham Perdue; and his siblings, Nancy Perdue and Henry Perdue. He is survived by: his wife Joan Pulliam Perdue; his sons, Jay M. Perdue (Donna) of Haw River and Randy J. Perdue (Cindy) of Mt. Pelier, VA.; his grandchildren, Cody J. Perdue, Brooke Nicole Perdue and Mason Cole Perdue; and his brother Raymond F. Perdue of Graham.
