He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wayne Young and Doris Beal Young; and his sister Joy Horner. He is survived by: his significant other Gail Putnam Young; his sister Bonnie Minnich; and his nieces and nephews, John Wayne Strickland, Christy Strickland, Cynthia Inman and Amy Horner.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Service - Graham (1030 S Main St, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
