She was predeceased by: her husband Junior Richard Watkins; her parents, Claude Raford Hooks and Essie Mae Garrett Hooks; her son James Watkins; and her siblings, Ralph, Carlyle, Thomas, Billy, Daryl, Mae, Mildred, Shirley and Joan.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Wayne Watkins (Cindy) of Reidsville and Juliana Smith (Rick) of Mebane; her granddaughter Janet Watkins of Gibsonville; her stepdaughter Brenda Visage of McLeansville; her daughter-in-law Susan Watkins of McLeansville; her grandchildren, Emily Watkins (Ronnie), Meredith Beasley (Will), Jacob Watkins, James Watkins, Mary Ann Watkins, William Watkins and Timothy Visage; her great grandchildren, Rhett Bullins, Parker Beasley and Beckett Beasley; and her brother Hurley Hooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
