He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Albert Lloyd and Pinky McKenzie Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Jean M. Lloyd; and his children, Renea Lloyd of Stem, Melissa Kornegay (Steve Kornegay) of Creedmoor and James A. Lloyd Jr. of Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers the family requests you make a donation to the Amedisys Hospice Care of Franklin County. 3320 US-1 Suite B, Franklinton, NC 27525 , who took great care of James in his final days.
