He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul M. Rosser and Nancy Stone Rosser; his daughter Joanna Rosser Sims; and his brother Jerry Rosser. He is survived by: his spouse Jewelle Bass Rosser; his children, James L. Rosser, Jr. (Joy) and Beth R. Roberson (Eugene); his son-in-law Andrew Sims; his grandchildren, Joshua Smith (Nikki), Madelynne Smith, Colton Sims, Lindsay Sims, Katharine Rosser and Carson Rosser; his great grandchildren, Landon Smith, Natalie Rizzo, Alex Rizzo, Isabella Bailey and Faye Rosser; and his sister-in-law Paula (Marianna Rosser).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Formerly Haw River Christian Church (415 Roxboro Rd, Haw River, NC 27258). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
