She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Day and Maria Day; her husband Robert Sidney Burnette; and her siblings, Haywood Day, Willard Day, Climon Day, Clyde Day, Melvin Day, Fannie Mae Day, Grace D. Wade and Elizabeth "Liz" D. Love.
She is survived by: her son Deacon Dennis Burnette (Marian); her grandchildren, Dennis Rodney Burnette (Tasha) and Tamara D. Burnette Wade; her great grandchildren, Torric Burnette (Jamilla), Devin Burnette, Jackson Wade and Aubrey Wade; her great great grandchild Tahir Burnette; and her sister Thenia D. Mebane.
