He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McIntyre and Flossie Robeson Phillips McIntyre. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Small McIntyre; his daughter Donna Hodgin (Chris) of Gibsonville; and his grandson Justin Beasley (Olivia). He is also survived by three siblings.
