He was predeceased by: his wife Pattie Smith; his parents, Harry Smith and Corenne Smith; and his son Kevin Joe Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Smith Lawrence (Nels) of Graham, Sandra Smith Moneypenny (Dennis) of Graham and Lisa Smith Glosson of Graham; his grandchildren, Eric Paul Moneypenny of Los Angeles, CA, Erica Adrienne Murray (Chris) of Burlington and Adam Scott Moneypenny of Murfreesboro, NC; his great grandchild James Murray; and his friend March.
