He is survived by: his wife Nancy Howerton of Gibsonville, NC.; his mother Peggy Sprears; his daughter Cassie Spears Walker (Joseph "Andy" Walker); his grandchildren, Vada and Preston; his friend Steve Jones; and his cousin Scotty Wilson.
