He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Eugene Long and Dorothy Jean Harrold Long; his sister Phyllis Jean Rees; and his nephew Phillip M. Rees. He is survived by: his nephew Rick R. Rees (Janice) of Durham, NC; his niece Cindy Rees Kosinski (Paul) of Graham, NC; and his brother-in-law Donald R. Rees (Darlene) of Mebane, NC.
