He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Randolph "C. R." Dillard and Mary Lou Johnston Dillard (Margaret Homewood Dillard); and his sisters, Eleanor Knott, Bettye Jo Horne and Barbara Meschke.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Dillard; his sons, Jeff Dillard (Teresa) of Simpsonville, SC, Dave Dillard (Lynne) of Graham, NC and Cliff Dillard of New Bern, NC; his grandchildren, Amanda Miller (Adam) of Graham, NC, Zack Dillard (Jessica) of Atlanta, GA, Cassie Maxwell (Brandon) of Houston, TX, Jake Dillard (Sammie) of New Braunfels, TX and Stewart Dillard of Graham, NC; and his great grandchildren, Carter Miller, Claire Miller, Riley Maxwell, Reese Dillard, Griffin Maxwell and Declan Dillard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.
