She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Holt Brown and Walter Monroe Brown Jr. (Robert Edward Wooten); her siblings, Buster Brown and Holt Brown McLean; her great-great-grandparent E. M. Holt; and her great-grandparents, James H. Holt Sr. and Glencoe Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Wooten (Karen) of Burlington, NC, Beth Wooten Glidewell (Pete) of Elon, NC and Jim Wooten; her grandchildren, Will Morgan, Jim Morgan, Tom Morgan, Rob Wooten (Elizabeth), Jack Wooten (Berkley), Frannie Wooten Griffin (Brett) and Maggie Wooten Scott (Shaun); her brother-in-law Tom McLean of Burlington, NC; her great grandchildren, Walt, Gus, Catie, Monroe, McRay, Bruce and Vera; and her aunt Betty. She is also survived by the many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Episcopal Church.
